Today, President Renny announced his appointments for the Jolly Parliament of the Ministry of Mint. The Jolly Parliament is the nickname for the advisory council to the Minister of Mint. It was created by the Constitution in order to check the power of the Minister. President Renny was recently given the ability to appoint members of the council in the newly passed Mint Bill, which created multiple restrictions on the Minister's power.

The council currently consists of four seats, one for each of the political parties in Phillip. As more political parties in Phillip are launched, the council will expand. President Renny chose the council members based off of their knowledge of economics and his personal trust in them. Below is a list of his choices, their positions and their party affiliation.

  • Governor Nick Waro (Radical Party)

  • Minister Nick DeVorb (Cork Party)

  • Governor Owen Itzen (Ugandan-Ngombe QAnon Social Workers Coalition)

  • Governor Walker Von (Butter Butta Bentley Party)

The newly appointed members of this council will have the responsability of approving or vetoing the decision of Mint Minister Ben Fitzgibbins. He is yet to do anything as Minister yet and is expected to start printing money relatively soon.
