Today, the fight for political power between the Phillip National Front and President Jaxson Renny's government finally came to an end. After VP Luke Fitzgibbins announced that he would be stopping all efforts to gain approval of his "Family Voting Bill" in the National Assembly, PNF Chairman Cooper Norfolk decided that it would be a great time propose an agreement with him. They eventually came up with a deal in which Minister Norfolk would disband the PNF with the promise that VP Fitzgibbins wouldn't present or support legislature similar to his Family Voting Bill in the Assembly. After the agreement was expanded upon further by both parties, they planned an in-person signing. President Jaxson Renny would also end up signing the document on behalf of the Butter Butta Bentley Party, as they are the biggest supporters of the VP's voting bill. The agreement, now called the "Norfolk-Fitzgibbins Agreement", was kept secret from PNF members until the day of the signing.

Minister Norfolk's original goal for the PNF was to prevent VP Fitzgibbins from passing his Family Voting Bill. According to Minister Norfolk, this agreement has allowed him to "achieve what [he] want[s] and not have to worry about keeping the PNF alliance together." He also said that he was having doubts on how reliable the alliance he created with PNF Assembly members truly was after Rep. Iyan Seeker betrayed it to vote against multiple bills that he did not personally believe in.
Part of the agreement states that after the disbanding of the PNF, Minister Norfolk has to remain an independent politician until the renewal of the deal. This means that he will be unable to join or create any new political parties until the 1st of January next year. Minister Norfolk is also no longer allowed to run for President, Minister of Mint, or become a Vice President. Reportedly, he doesn't really mind as he was planning on stepping away from party politics for a while.
After the PNF was officially disbanded, members were informed that they would have to join a new political party. Rep. Madison Marcos of Calabaza decided to take the opportunity to establish a new party, which she named the "Richardson Party". The ideologies of the new party are vague so far, but it seems like the main goal of it is to create a totalitarian dictatorship in Phillip with Rep. Marcos as the potential dictator. Rep. Seeker decided to rejoin the Butter Butter Bentley Party, which he affiliated with prior to becoming a part of the PNF. With VP Fitzgibbins' and Rep. Seeker's four combines seats, the party was able to regain majority in the National Assembly.
Overall, this agreement was a huge win for both parties. Each party to the agreement received what they wanted without having to make any drastic compromises. After only existing for nine days, the Phillip National Front has become officially defunct. Along with it died any chance of a civil war in Phillip. Its safe to say that this agreement has relieved the stress of many of Phillip citizens. If you are interested, a full copy of the agreement without signatures is available for viewing here.
