Today, a rag-tag team of Phillip's citizens invaded the Phillip del Sur Territory. The territory, just like the Traqueto Territory, was considered to be disputed with the United States because a citizen of Phillip hadn't been to the land to officially claim it. Phillip del Sur is a vital territory for Phillip as it's the nation's access to international waters. It's located on a rocky beach facing the Hillsborough Bay, which is home to many different species of saltwater gamefish. The land could have a huge economic impact on Phillip in the future as the fishing industry grows. The group, led by President Jaxson Renny, consisted of four citizens of Phillip and an American who tagged along.
The group of citizens departed from the Tarkis District just before 3pm EST and arrived at the territory about 15 minutes later. Minister Itzen was able to craft a makeshift flag pole from wood on the ground and planted it on the beach front. The land surrounding the flag was then declared as the site of the capital city, Velero. The citizens then surveyed the land for a while before leaving. President Renny was not able to give an official speech during the conquering of the territory, but was reportedly "very jubilant".
Below are some pictures from Phillip del Sur:

Despite the brevity of the invasion, it was still another successful show of Phillip's dominance over it's territorial claims.
